Without their help, I would have struggled to put this post together. Also, thanks to my colleague Eric Beauchesne for his review. In light of known weaknesses in specific TLS ciphersuites, many administrators want to reduce the set of available ciphersuites used by TLS 1.2 to a more secure subset. The two main ways to set TLS ciphersuite policy in Windows are: Use Group Policy Use PowerShell I am going to focus on the latter, and I tested this on Windows Server 2019 version 1809, current builds of Windows Server 2022, Windows 10 and Windows 11 will also work. Use TLS 1.3 I want to stress that where possible, you need to use TLS 1.3,
